Early settlers originally brought the Barbados green monkeys to the island from Senegal, Africa 350 years ago. They live wild within the forests and are considered a nuisance by the local farmers.

Matthew Bamberg is a Adjunct Professor at National University and freelance writer and photographer. He graduated with a Master's degree in creative arts from San Francisco State University.
